Urban Academy will join Nordic CityMaking Week as a Content Partner
Urban Academy will hold a morning coffee event on 14 September as a pre-event for the Nordic CityMaking Week. The theme of the morning coffee event is shopping malls and how to develop them sustainably. The event is produced in co-operation with the City of Helsinki and is organized as a Zoom meeting in English. More information about the event will be announced on Urban Academy´s pages in August.
The first Nordic CityMaking Week 2020 invites all people interested in the future of our Nordic cities to share experiences in how to make our cities more liveable, sustainable and inclusive. During 15–19 September Nordic CityMaking Week will host seminars, round table talks and workshops as well as numerous site visits. As a ‘conference without walls’ the event week will spread to different neighbourhoods of Helsinki, Vantaa and Espoo and connect the topics to real life developments.
The Hosting Cities of Nordic CityMaking Week 2020 are City of Helsinki and City of Vantaa, and the Main Partners KONE and NCC. The event is initiated and produced by Urban Practice.
Urban Academy is enthusiastic and grateful for the opportunity to collaborate on Nordic CityMaking Week as a content partner. We look forward to meeting anyone interested in urban development and a better understanding of Nordic cities – whether you are a professional, student or community activist.
