Me, Myself and I – Nandara

Here I am in front of an abandoned house, where nature reclaims its space back. I have always admired the beauty of the ruins, forgotten places where the marks of time tell their stories. Somehow I feel a certain comfort in deserted houses, I also like to imagine what was its past, what will be its future, what is its present.

  1. I don’t know about you but when I was reading Gabriel García Márquez and Isabel Allende years ago, I had images of decadent haciendas that looked a bit like the building behind you … but grander. I grew up in old and a bit run down houses and for me old buildings have great charm. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Ow, I never read any book from them but I know that are quite good. Yeah, I guess the ruins some how mix with our memory. A nostalgic feeling from a time that we didn’t live. Thank you too.
